MAG has been in the business of designing and fabricating radar components since its inception in 1969. The requirements for RF, electronic, and mechanical design capabilities have lead to MAG's expertise in each of these engineering disciplines.
- RF Design
MAG has a proven record of creativity and innovation in microwave component and subsystem design. The foundation for this competence lies in the analytical capabilities and experience of the company’s professional staff. The expertise of our engineers is demonstrated in a long list of technical publications in fields that include transmission lines, directional couplers, ferrite devices and microwave antennas.
In the area of ferrite devices, for example, MAG has made significant contributions to the analytical techniques available for design and optimization. As a result, MAG-developed units have set new standards of performance for phase shifters, variable power dividers and isolators.

- Electronic Design
For many applications, MAG provides electronic drivers and beam steering controllers to deliver power and control signals to the RF component or system. This has lead to an ability to perform driver and beam steering controller design, assembly, and test at MAG.

- Mechanical Design
Due to many stringent size and weight requirements, MAG has developed the capability to provide creative packaging and mechanical design. This is particularly evident in our antenna products, where difficult packaging requirements are met, but at a significant price reduction compared to the competition.
