Fast Switching and Low Loss

Ferrite based RF waveguide switches provide fast switching, moderate peak and average power capabilities, and good isolation with low loss. Airborne roll resolvers transform data from aircraft to other coordinates, whether looking down at the earth or maintaining satellite contact, and may also used for variable multiplexing. X-Band High Power SPDT Switches

In the mid-90s, MAG began providing high power single pole double throw waveguide switches for a widely-deployed precision approach radar application.

X-Band High Power SP3T Switches

MAG's single pole triple throw high power X-Band switches are provided for a fire control radar — and have been for over 20 years — and feature power level monitoring and feedback.

C-Band High Power SPDT Switches

MAG designed and built waveguide switches for a Doppler weather radar, allowing the radar to distinguish between rain, hail and snow.

X-Band DPDT High Power Switches

MAG provides greater than 56 dB isolation double pole double throw high power X-Band waveguide switches for use in a ship-based precision approach radar.

X-Band High Power SPDT Switches

MAG provides X-Band high power waveguide switches for an airborne radar. The switch meets wide operating bandwidth and temperature requirements.

L-Band High Power Polarization Rotator

MAG designed and built an L-Band high power air-cooled polarization rotator, capable of switching between vertical linear and right-hand circular polarization.

X-Band Airborne Roll Resolvers

MAG provides X-Band roll resolvers for an airborne offensive radar system, used for motion compensation. MAG continues its support of the system, as it has since the 80s.

Ku-Band Airborne Roll Resolvers

MAG provides Ku-Band roll resolvers for an airborne LPI radar system for motion compensation. MAG has supported this system since the 1980s.

X-Band SPDT Tandem Rotator Switches

MAG has developed a compact switch providing moderate isolation at moderate power, less than 6.2 inches (157 mm) long. A slightly larger variant is available to handle higher average power.

X-Band Ferrite Waveguide Multiplexers

MAG provided multiplexers to allow connection of multiple RF channels through a single device. Good high power handling with low insertion loss was provided.

X-Band High Isolation Switch

An X-Band high isolation switch has been developed, based on MAG's very compact SPDT Tandem Rotator Switch. Low insertion loss is provided at moderate power levels.

C-Band High Power SPDT Switches

This C-Band high power waveguide switch has good performance over temperature. Due to a generous packaging envelope, switch construction is a simple, linear design.
